| The 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair-2008  The 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair-2008 will be held on June 8 - 12, 2008 at Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center, China. China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF), approved by the State Council, co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce PRC and Zhejiang Provincial People's government, is the largest and most professional international consumer goods fair in China, which ranks only second to Canton Fair among all the exhibitions sponsored by Ministry of Commerce.Five sessions have been successfully held since 2002. Renowned as one of the most important windows of opening up to the outside world in China, Ningbo is an important foreign trade harbor city, with its import and export volume reaching 86.49 billion USD in 2006. The cargo throughput of Ningbo Port broke through 300 million tons, ranking 2nd in mainland China, and ranking 4th in the world. The container throughput of the year exceeded 7.0675 million TEU, ranking 13th in the world. 4000 booths will be set up at the 7th CICGF, with an exhibiting area of 90000 sqm. The booths will be divided into 6 professional exhibiting sections: household textiles and garments, home appliances and electronics, office supply / sports articles and furniture, decoration and gifts, articles of daily use, foodstuffs.
