| The International Green Week Berlin-2008 Farmers are becoming energy producers, fuels and heating oils are becoming green, and packaging is becoming bio-degradable. For some time now agriculture has not only been a supplier of foodstuffs but, by producing renewable raw materials, is also making its own contribution to environmental protection and the protection of resources. The International Green Week Berlin 2008 has responded to this growing market by setting up a separate section devoted to it. From 18 to 27 January nature.tec – specialist show for bio energy and renewable raw materials - will occupy a 3, \000 square metre space in Hall 4.2 to display the diversity of this new and innovative business area. Seven industry associations and institutions are lending their support to nature.tec, and together with Messe Berlin they will be ensuring that this rapidly expanding market is accorded the importance that it deserves at the Green Week. Assistance for this exhibition is also being provided by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. The heart of nature.tec has been created by the associations and institutions in accordance with the slogan of making renewable raw materials and bio-energy something that everyone can understand and experience. It will feature information stands with attractive displays ranging from the singer SMUDO's BioConcept racing car to a biogas production facility that visitors can examine in detail, paints and packaging, as well as vehicle and heating fuels made from plants. here will also be shows and information events on the main stage, while the nature.tec visitors' quiz will present a challenge to young and old alike. The main display area at nature.tec will be supplemented by numerous exhibition stands presenting companies which use renewable raw materials in products or as a source of energy. Pellet ovens for home use and cars running on bio-ethanol can also be ordered here. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
