| Made-in-India-Show The first-ever "Made-in-India-show" in Egyptian capital Cairo, showcasing the best of Indian industries, has been inaugurated in the backdrop of a marked increase in Indo-Egyptian trade. Organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Embassy of India, the exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday by first Under-Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Industry of Egypt. Rajive Kaul, former CII President said that the show is expected to further stimulate economic and commercial relations between India and Egypt. A total of Indian companies, including major industrial groups, including Godrej Consumer Products, Kirloskar Brothers, the Tata Group, Apollo Tyres, JK Tyres and SBI. The exhibition also features a Hydrocarbon Pavilion showcasing the public sector majors - GAIL (India) Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, ONGC Ltd, Oil India Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, said a press release from Indian embassy in Cairo. India's achievements and capabilities in S&T are showcased in the pavilion put up by the Ministry of Science & Technology and there is also a sizable presence of the Indian auto components sector, it added.
