| Preparations for drinktec 2009 enter the critical phase ![]() Among the firms who have already signed up to take part in drinktec 2009 are multi-nationals as well as small- and medium-sized enterprises. For the latter the drinktec organisers have put together an especially attractive full-service package, for exhibitors who book stands of up to 50 square metres. As well as stand space, it also includes a full stand-building service and communication services. In visitor acquisition the critical phase begins in autumn 2008. That´s when the drinktec team launches its global PR campaign for the major event taking place in the following year. The campaign will also have an emotional pitch, says Petra Westphal: "We will be taking the drinktec 2009 road show to all parts of the globe, visiting over 30 different countries.
