| The 11th Trade Fair for the Islamic Countries The 11th Trade Fair for the Islamic Countries is to be organized in Dakar, Senegal from 21 to 25 November, 2007 under the slogan "OIC Intra-trade and Partnership for Development in Africa". The Fair is to be organized by the Islamic Centre for Trade Development, an OIC subsidiary organ, in cooperation with the International Centre for External Trade in Senegal, under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce in the Republic of Senegal. This Session is hosted by the International Centre for Exchanges in Dakar. Following the success realized by the 9th and 10th Sessions organized respectively in Sharjah, UAE and Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, which focussed on trade between OIC Member States and Gulf region countries, it is hoped that the Dakar Session will meet the same success in the sub-Saharan region in Africa. In addition, the Dakar Fair would be organized at a time when attention is focussed inside the OIC on the African Continent, given that the Senegalese capital would be hosting a few months later (March 2008) the 11th Ordinary Session of the Islamic Summit Conference. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
