It is estimated that every tenth Chinese household has an aquarium nowadays. The domestic industry is booming and it is not surprising that some of the industry's most successful companies have settled in the south of the country. The China International Pet Show, the established exhibition for pet supplies in China and Asia, also traditionally focuses on aquaria in Guangzhou. The event takes place this year for the eleventh time and offers a unique industry get-together particularly for international buyers. Interested buyers from Europe can now experience the industry in China at close range by taking part in a business trip organized by Nürnberg Global Fairs with the support of Dähne Verlag: The essential features of the nine-day trip are an extended visit to CIPS 2007 and visits to five selected companies in the Guangzhou and Shanghai region. The visits will include both companies from the aquaria segment (Guangzhou Minjiang Aquarium Co. Ltd. and GuangDong Resun Group Co. Ltd.) and manufacturers specializing in products for dogs, cats and other four-legged pets (Yixiao Pet Products Co. Ltd., Doggyman Trading Co. Ltd. and Peidi Brand Industry). The German company Karlie Heimtierbedarf GmbH has also produced cat scratchers, brushes and pet toys in China since 2002 and will open its doors for the group of visitors. It is also planned to arrange a presentation evening to give participants concrete tips and information on the legal framework for business in China. The programme includes a tourist highlight with a visit to the Yu Garden and the old town of Shanghai. The trip ends with a dinner for participants and CIPS exhibitors – the ideal opportunity for exchanging views and making contacts on the ground. Anyone who mainly wishes to visit the exhibition has the option of a shortened five-day trip. This focuses on the CIPS and the agenda only includes a visit to a company on the afternoon of the day of arrival. The minimum number of participants for the trip is 15 persons. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
