| Plan EXPO Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year Ireland's international construction industry showcase, Plan expo will be placing particular focus on sustainable building methods and renewable energy with an entire section dedicated to Eco Build. Attracting approximately 7,000 construction industry professionals, the exhibition takes place from 8-10th November 2007 in the RDS, Dublin. Eco Build is the natural progression from last year's Sustainable Technologies Pavilion, and will see a large section of the hall dedicated to low environmental impact options to improve the performance of buildings in Ireland. Plan Expo will celebrate 25 years of innovation at this year's show with a conference looking ahead at the challenges the Irish Construction industry will face over the next 25 years as the impacts of climate change and dwindling fossil fuels take hold. Plan Expo is one of Ireland's longest established trade shows and continues to be the one of Europe's most highly regarded and best attended construction industry trade events. It is the focal point of Ireland's 'Construction Week', setting the scene around which a range of various activities and awards are planned - the coveted OPUS Awards, sponsored by Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking; the Product of the Show Awards; a host of seminars and workshops and the International Pavilions, where Europe's most innovative manufacturers display their latest products and technology. Extending across all available space in the Simmonscourt and Pavilions the event will host more than 250 exhibitors, showcasing all the latest offerings and cutting edge technologies from some of the most high profile participants within the construction market. For exhibitors the show represents an opportunity to launch new products, generate business, gain insights into their chosen industry while also allowing face–to-face interaction with their target market. Plan Expo attracts the cream of the crop from the construction business, being the only trade event supported by both the Construction Industry Federation and the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland. It is extremely well attended by all of the various segments within the industry – builders, engineers, architects, designers, property owners – most of them key decision makers within their sectors. The majority of the 7,000 visitors come to the show with a particular purpose - either to source new suppliers or products, make fresh contacts and develop relationships or to simply place orders. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
