| LDI 2007-Tradeshow for Sound and Visual Technologies Penton Media's LDI, the trade show and conference for visual and sound technologies, will celebrate 20 years of innovation and industry leadership when LDI 2007 opens at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla., November 12-18. LDI 2007 plans include industry celebrations and remembrances in this 20th anniversary year, reflecting LDI's heritage as the pulse and sounding board for the industry. Over the past 20 years, the industry seen a series of revolutionary changes, many of which were experienced for the first time at LDI. In lighting, developments include the evolution of moving lights, fiber optics, LEDs, and digital lighting. Audio has moved from analog to digital, with self-powered speakers, variable room acoustics, and solid-state playback among the innovations since LDI was launched in 1988.
