| The 48th Hamburg International Boat Show The course for the 48th Hamburg International Boat Show from 27 October to 4 November 2007 is set by a growing and appealing trade fair site. Five of the new halls will already be in use for the hanseboot 2007, and the new fair site is scheduled for final completion at the end of 2008. This year the exhibition space will already be increased by a further 5000 sqm to 78, 000 sqm in a total of 11 exhibition halls, plus the hanseboot harbour. There are two new entrance areas to welcome visitors to the A site, to the west of Karolinenstrasse. From the motor yachts, the exhibition continues with the series-built sailing yachts in the "Sailing Hall" A1, and the sailing yachts in A2. Sailing yachts of all different sizes are on display on a total of 14, 000 sqm. From there, a generously sized glass-enclosed pedestrian bridge provides the link with the B site, to the east of Karolinenstrasse. The new hall B6 welcomes visitors with equipment and accessories on 13, 000 sqm of space. This is the largest of the exhibition halls, and is known as the "Equipment Hall" – for display of motors, sails, masts, outfitting, clothing, accessories, paints and varnishes, in fact everything a skipper needs for the season. There are some 900 exhibitors from 30 nations presenting more than 1200 boats and yachts from 27 October to 4 November – perfect timing for placement of orders for the summer season 2008. There will be numerous boat premieres, from the entry level right up to high-class ocean-going yachts, plus new international developments in equipment and accessories. There will be thematic zones and a sophisticated and highly appealing supporting programme, with plenty of advice and service, both for new boat owners and for experienced watersports enthusiasts. The hanseboot FREE Beach Lounge in Hall 7 will be colourful and trendy, with kiting, surfing, diving, wakeboarding and waterskiing. The hanseboot LIVEDECK was a wonderful wet attraction last year for bold seafarers. In 2007 they will have another chance to try out watersports clothing, on an even larger LIVEDECK, under authentic weather conditions with wind and water. Brand new clothing and shoes from the major manufacturers will be available for testing. Sailing and boating areas throughout the world will be at the centre of attention at the hanseboot CHARTER CONSULTING on the upper floor of Hall B3. The advisers there are exclusively experienced sailors and experts in the relevant cruising waters, to help visitors plan their holiday cruises. Advance registration is recommended for these free-of-charge consulting sessions, at www.hanseboot.de. The hanseboot FISHING FORUM focuses on the latest equipment and accessories for sea and inland fishing. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
