| Conexpo Asia 2007 CONEXPO Asia 2007 will be the industry gathering place in 2007 for the China and Asia-Pacific marketplace when it is held December 4-7, 2007 at the Chinese Import and Export Fair (CIEF) Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China. The event has significantly increased the number of key organizations who are official supporters, helping to promote the show and bring qualified buyers to the event. Many official buyer delegations from China and overseas are already being recruited, including several through the U.S. CONEXPO Asia 2007 currently has official support from 26 organizations, an increase of more than 70 percent over the last show, with key industry associations, trade bureaus, and municipalities represented. For the first time, CONEXPO Asia has received support from Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou, as well as leading trade associations from India and Turkey, and support is anticipated from New Zealand and other countries. More than a dozen official buyer delegations are already set to participate in CONEXPO Asia 2007, coming from across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam, as well as last but not least from China itself. And the U.S.-based Associated Equipment Distributors is already organizing a delegation of dealers from North America to the show. Many CONEXPO Asia 2007 supporting organizations as well as show official supporting publications will exhibit at the event, as well as groups such as the Changsha Economic Committee, the Research Institute of the Highway Ministry and the U.S. Commerce Department, bringing an added dimension to the show's networking opportunities. CONEXPO Asia 2007 already covers more than 65, 000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibit space – more than double the size of the 2006 show, and exhibit space sales continue to grow. Close to 300 exhibitors have already signed on, an increase of over 50 percent compared to 2006.
