| Japan's International Flower Show As Japan's international flower show, the International Flower Expo Tokyo (IFEX) (organized by Japan Floral Marketing Association (JFMA) and Reed Exhibitions Japan) continues to have good outlook as it enters its 4th year in 2007. 850 exhibitors from around the world will gather at Makuhari Messe, Japan from October 11th to 13th, 2007 to join the show which is on a steady growth path towards becoming Asia's flower trade show. Japan is the world's second flower market in the world, and IFEX offers exhibitors the best way to enter this vast market. Especially this year, a new garden show, the International Garden and Exterior Expo Tokyo (GARDEX), will kick off its first year to expand participants' business opportunity to garden and exterior industry. Formerly a garden zone inside IFEX, GARDEX will unveil itself in October 2007 as a separate show featuring a vast collection of exteriors, gardening goods, pots, planters, garden furniture, fertilizers and more. Already, Japanese companies from the industry have decided to join GARDEX, including Sumika-Takeda Garden Products Co., Ltd., Itochu Forestry Corp., Takasho, and Matsuo Trading Co., Ltd. Also, Gardenex, UK's Garden and Leisure Federation, will have a UK pavilion at this year's show. Other international participants include leading pottery companies such as Idel and Di Martino in Italy, Pots & Gardens from China, and LCK Ceramics in Vietnam.
