| The International Energy & Electricity Exhibition–IEE-in Teheran ![]() Germany, China and Turkey will be promoting their products via their own national pavilions with the main exhibition focus concentrating above all on the areas of power stations, power station systems, energy and thermal engineering, power generation, energy conversion/storage, energy transmission/distribution and renewable energy as well as on a comprehensive range of products and services connected with other sector-specific developments. Despite the prevailing political uncertainties, Iran's economy is nevertheless continuing to grow at an accelerated rate. The country is starting to reap the benefits from the increase in its oil revenues and its wealth of metal ore reserves. The modernisation of the economy and improvement in energy supply are the Iranian government's declared economic policy aims. This applies above all to the energy and electricity sector, which faces enormous challenges. Due to the rapid growth in population and the country's ongoing industrialisation, above all the energy sector is a top priority in Iran. Funding for the ambitious projects is available thanks to the revenues flowing from its oil activities. The exhibition organisers have reacted to the developments in Iran - whereas the 2005 event already attracted more than 380 exhibitors from 20 different countries, this year's IEE exhibition will give significantly more international companies the opportunity of penetrating the Iranian market due to the host country's planned investment and high demand for new technologies. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
