This year's 15th anniversary KIOGE will take place on 02-05 October 2007 at the Atakent exhibition centre in Almaty. Official support for the event will be provided once again by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and national oil & gas company KazMunaiGas JSC. Traditionally, the event will also be supported by various national stands, among others from Germany. The conference held alongside the exhibition will take place on 02-04 October 2007 at the Intercontinental Hotel "The Ankara". Since 1993, the KIOGE exhibition and conference has been reflecting growing interest in the Kazakh national oil and gas sector. Last year, Almaty hosted the largest ever edition of KIOGE with 494 companies from 31 countries, using a total space of 20, 000 sqm gross and showcasing their latest products and services to more than 11, 000 trade visitors. A newly built pavilion allowed the exhibition to expand by 30 %. KIOGE 2006 again had a German Pavilion, and also Canada, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Poland and Turkey had national joint stands. Approximately 1, 000 delegates and 60 high-ranking speakers took part in the two-day conference alongside the trade fair. The conference brought together a very knowledgeable audience and the issues covered included the development of Kazakhstan's oil and gas fields, investment opportunities, transportation routes and environment protection. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
