Nielsen Business Media, responsible for promoting the most important meetings of suppliers, distributors and resellers of the country in its business trade fairs, holds the Expo IS (International Trade Fair of Ingredients and Solutions for the Food Industry), looked upon as the largest forum of solutions and technology for the development of products, such as aromas, additives, semi-manufactured products, organic ingredients, commodities, etc. The fair takes place from September 18 to 20, from 12 AM to 7 PM, at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo.

According to the general director, Expo IS represents evolution and innovation of the food sector and offers to it the opportunity to find the main campaigns of this segment, promoting the industry's sustainable growth. This year, the organizational team of the trade fair estimates receiving a public of five thousand people, by bringing together 80 exhibitors. So far, the number of pre-registered attendees is 44% higher than the 2006 edition.

The novelty of this year's edition is the 1st Marketing Forum, an exclusive discussion panel for marketing professionals of the food industry, which takes place on September 19. This initiative is the result of a need shown by the market and exhibitors and it will be held in partnership with IBMEC and Instituto Akatu, aiming at discussing success cases, consumer profiles and trends of the area.

Also, the event counts on the IS Award, top award for the innovation of the food industry, which awards the most innovative ingredient and food product. More than 20 companies will be participating in this event, which takes places on September 19, at 8 PM at Vila Noah Embratel, in São Paulo.

In addition, two important conferences take place during the congress: the 5th R&D Forum, the largest discussion meeting for the food industry, which takes place on September 18, and the IS Conference, which exclusively brings the trends and innovation of the sector, on September 19 and 20.
