| MiningWorld Central Asia 2007 and Kazcomak 2007 Exhibitions On 19-21 September 2007, Almaty will host MiningWorld Central Asia 2007 and Kazcomak 2007 exhibitions in Pavilions 9B and 9A of Atakent KBCC as well as outdoors in front of the Pavilions. Over these thirteen years, MiningWorld Central Asia has become the largest mining and metallurgical forum annually providing venue for mining industry specialists, equipment manufacturers, and representatives. Kazcomak, held in concurrence with MiningWorld Central Asia, has gained the international status of a specialised event for lifting, handling and transport equipment, quarrying, industrial facilities and roads construction, and construction machinery and technologies. At their 250 display stands, MiningWorld Central Asia 2007 and Kazcomak 2007 Exhibitions will present the achievements and innovations of over 300 companies of 20 countries of the world: Belarus, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, and USA. As has become customary, Finland and Poland, and – for the first time ever – Denmark will participate with their national stands. Russian companies will make up 35-40% of the Exhibition and will evidently dominate. This year, the total area of the Exhibitions will amount to 5, 000 sq. meters; at the same time, a 60% increase on the previous year is observed.
