| EuroBiO 2007 EuroBiO 2007 will be back in Lille from September 26 to 28 – again positioning itself as a leading platform for dialogue and networking between stakeholders in biotech, bioscience and the bioindustry. EuroBiO also acts as a knowledge exchange platform for biotech's various fields of application: biomedicine, human & animal therapeutics, diagnostics, the environment, agrifood, etc. Biotech and life science companies have already proven themselves as true interfaces between these different sectors. By bringing together researchers, business developers, investors, funding bodies, recruitment agencies, etc. EuroBiO is clearly positioning itself as a catalyst within a business and scientific community for which networking and sharing experience is fundamental. Private-public partnerships and B-to-B alliances are fueling the sector's growth and influencing the success of innovative projects. According to Philippe Busquin, former European Commissioner for Research and Chairman of the EuroBiO 2007 Strategy Committee, "European research and scientific development needs events like EuroBiO in order to maintain their visibility on the international stage and shape the sector's short-term and long-term future". The seminar tracks will focus on four themes The biotech economy and business development; Red biotech; White & green biotech; Regulatory affairs/IP/tech transfer.
