The Events calendar of the first MEET Milano - music, events and entertainment technology, the new, unique and exclusive exhibition, entirely devoted to the Music and Entertainment industry, organized in cooperation with Dismamusica (the Association of manufacturers and distributors of musical instruments and publications and craftsmanship), that will take place from 21 to 24 September, in fieramilano Rho exhibition center, offers a rich program of varied and interesting rendezvous both for trade professionals and visitors.

During the four days of the exhibition, concerts, meetings, conferences, classes, exhibitions, competitions, demos and live shows will take place non stop thanks to a great number of artists, personalities and new talented people who immediately accepted to take part in this interesting project.

Five stages, four dedicated rooms and a variety of stands and exhibiting areas are available within MEET Milano, where anyone can sit and listen, watch, learn and exchange, in entertaining yet prestigious rendezvous.

A great number of artists will take part in this intense program, which will continue with the daily Maratona Pianistica (Piano Marathon) where renowned pianists will alternate with young talented musicians so that music will never stop; in the "Concorso dei Concorsi" (Competition of Competitions), 15 emerging young artists will meet and compete.

They are the ones who have already won the most important Italian competitions in the past 12 months, such as the Ciampi Award, Lunezia Award, Cornetto free Music, Voci per la libertà, Musikultura; in the Club Tenco, at different times, Gianni Mura, Michele Serra, Gigi Garanzini, Virgilio Savona, Sergio Staino and many more, will exchange on several subjects with the general public, in a sort of meeting-show.

Important conferences will be held, devoted to the musical industry where the most urgent questions will be tackled: from copyrights to multimedia, from the new frontiers of digital technology to those of technique.

The event/competition Air Guitar, the spectacular art of feigning to play guitar, will be real fun: there are already 12 world championships. MEET Milano will host the current Italian champion, Ramon Compagnoni, who will meet the challenge of all those who would like to take his title from him.

And then classes of music history and a space entirely devoted to children, where from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., young visitors will be entertained with musical games especially developed to educate on music by having fun. A special area will be devoted to guitar in the Acoustic Guitar Village, where
in a 300 square meter exhibiting area, visitors will see lute-makers at work, attend to show cases, meetings and presentations of the latest record news from important Italian and international guitar players, but especially share
their passion with other musicians.
