| Genoa International Boat Show Next 6 through 14 October Genoa International Boat Show - the leading pleasure boating event worldwide, organised by Fiera di Genova SpA and UCINA (the professional association of the Italian pleasure boating industry) - will be back at Genoa fairground. Following last year's completion of works for the new Marina in time for the 2006 Boat Show, this year's 47th Show will further strengthen its leadership by increasingly relying on its comprehensive product range and its incredibly scenic setting, ensured by an over-onehundred- thousand-square-metre floating area and a large variety of exhibiting areas capable of hosting entire product ranges, enhancing their value to the fullest. Boasting the attendance of more than 1, 650 companies, hundreds of new products on preview, and a large number of foreign exhibitors (more than 35% of exhibitors will be from outside Italy), the show will include the following sectors: power boats, sailing boats, inflatables, engines, technical apparel, fishing and diving equipment, nautical tourism and services. An important event at the Boat Show will be Tech Trade, which will be held on Monday, 8 and Tuesday, 9 October - a "Show within the Show" explicitly targeted at the 'purely business sector', entirely on display in Pavilion C (28 thousand sq ). Recreational boating components and accessories will be displayed at their best in an exhibition and product-arrangement setting aimed at ensuring the widest possible range or products, in order to meet the demand of professional operators, who accounted for 23% of the target public in 2006. The presence of worldwide boating in Genoa also means nine days of business, meetings, and innovation, with the presence of leading experts, institutional representatives, opinion leaders, and champions from the past and present. Existing opportunities to be seized and promoted for the development of small boating will be the leading theme of the conferences organised by UCINA during the Show in October. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
