| Music China - International Trade Fair for Musical Instruments Music China will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre this October for its biggest showing yet. The 2007 fair will feature over 1, 000 exhibitors from 22 countries & regions, and will cover 60, 000sqm in five halls. Amongst the confirmed exhibitors are some of the most recognisable brands in the music business today, including AXL, Bösendorfer, C. Bechstein, Bluethner, Fazioli, Gibson, Kawai, KHS, M-Audio, Pearl River Piano, Roland, Steinway, Warwick, and Yamaha. Pavilions from Austria, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, and the UK are all confirmed. Music China is undoubtedly the biggest annual gathering of the music products industry in Asia. For thousands of musicians, retailers, dealers, distributors and agents from across China and all over the world, it has become the number one sourcing event of the year. The fair boasts the entire range of musical instruments and accessories: from traditional Chinese instruments, to western orchestral and classical items, both acoustic and electronic. MIDI technology is represented, as are amplification and production equipment, plus parts and components for instruments. And reflecting the importance of musical education in China, new for 2007 is a special area focusing exclusively on sheet music. A number of live shows, specialist seminars and workshops will be featured at Music China 2007 to entertain, educate and inspire attendees. NAMM University sessions for professional development, including 'big issue' panels and 'how to' sessions; International drum festival, this year with a special focus on folk music, featuring world-renowned drummers.
