| Trade Fair For Visual Communication Only a few weeks before the start of viscom 2007, interest continues unabated. More than 290 exhibitors from 26 nations have already made firm bookings for the trade fair for visual communication that will be held from 20 to 22 September in Düsseldorf. And more registrations to participate still keep coming in. To representatives from industry, retail, trade and marketing, viscom offers the full range of visual communication – well combined with innovative technologies and new markets. The organiser, Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH, expects more than 300 international exhibitors and some 9, 200 trade visitors at viscom. A particular focus at the fair will be the "Digital Signage" segment. Digital Signage Day on the second day of the fair will provide information on the basics from content design and planning through to perception, and will demonstrate possibilities for application by way of practical examples. The introduction to the topic will begin with the question: Digital Signage – merely a passing hype or a trend for the future? The day will be concluded by a panel discussion on the topic of today's signage market, its effects and opportunities for suppliers of conventional advertising. Digital Signage is to become a new core segment of viscom. Another novelty this year will be the Best Practice Award in the Digital Signage segment: the three categories in which manufacturers, service and retail companies, agencies and system integrators can enter their products are: Retail Signage – Digital Signage applications in retail shops; Information Signage – Digital Signage applications to present information on public displays, and Routing – Digital Signage applications in routing systems for public spaces. Visitors to the fair can expect an extensive supporting programme with a large variety of workshops on the topics Adobe, web2.0, neuromarketing, digital printing, web2print or Corel as well as the fmp producers' meeting place. In addition to the wide range of topics for the three-day seminar programme, there will be demonstrations of practical advertising solutions in the new "demonstration area". A special show of materials, put together by "Industrial Inkjet Printing", offers an opportunity to a large number of exhibitors to demonstrate state-of-the-art technical possibilities and developments in the field of surface finishes. Visitors are primarily independent advertising technicians and agencies, billboard and light advertising retailers and buyers, neon and light advertising companies, shop fitting and trade fair construction suppliers, outdoor advertising agencies, screen printers and digital printers, but also advertising agencies, specialist photo laboratories, window dressers, architects, planning agencies and decision-makers from the fields of marketing and sales. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
