| 2008 Annual Spring Conference, Communication in Clinical Research The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) is offering a cash prize and the opportunity for young researchers to showcase their work to a global audience via a poster at the 2008 Annual Spring Conference. The posters will be evaluated by a panel of experts from within the ICR's membership and the best will join last year's winner, Oliver Pearson, whose work on intra-operative fibrinogen testing identified him as one of the industry's brightest young talents. As the professional clinical research body in Europe, the ICR is committed to raising standards and sharing knowledge in clinical research and sees the nurturing of grass-roots scientists as vital to the industry, as Susan Ollier explains: Along with the free showcasing opportunity and a cash prize, the winner will also be invited to contribute an article to the ICR's flagship publication, CRfocus.
