| International Sweet & Snack Tec China  International Sweet & Snack Tec China, which Koelnmesse is staging in Shanghai for the first time from 5th to 7th September 2007, is to merge with its two main competitors on the Chinese market. These are the Confectionery Manufacturing Show, which was to have taken place this year for the third time, and the Snack Manufacturing Show, planned as a new event for November 2007. Both events previously belonged to the portfolio of the Simply Group Ltd. As a result of the merger, International Sweet & Snack Tec China will be the most important trade fair for the sector in the growth market of China, right from the start.The trade fair will present the entire range of suppliers required for the production, processing and packaging of confectionery. These suppliers will exhibit ingredients, confectionery packaging and packaging technology, machines and equipment for the confectionery industry, and secondary segments such as food safety and quality management. In conjunction with the parallel trade fairs Sweets China and World of Food China, International Sweet & Snack Tec China will therefore cover the entire value chain for the confectionery industry. The "new" International Sweet & Snack Tec China is being prepared in close cooperation with the Simply Group Ltd. in order to ensure that the exhibitors at CME and SME have a smooth transition to International Sweet & Snack Tec China.
