| International Baby to Teenager Fair - Kind + Jugend's Kind + Jugend's powerful appeal for visitors and exhibitors is as strong as ever, and the world's platform for the children's outfitting sector continues to grow at a rapid pace. About 700 suppliers from more than 40 countries are expected to take part in the next event from 13th to 16th September 2007, and 77 per cent of them will be from outside Germany. As a result, the number of exhibitors at the fair will be about ten per cent higher than at the previous event, making Cologne once again the global meeting place for the entire children's outfitting sector. For the first time, this year's fair will also occupy Hall 11.1 in addition to Halls 10.1, 10.2 and 11.2 at the Cologne exhibition centre. The exhibition space will therefore be enlarged by about 20 per cent to more than 80, 000 m2. This expansion is due in part to the participation of additional first-time exhibitors from abroad. Another reason is that companies from Germany and other European countries in particular have expanded their stands, thus increasing not only the fair's area but also ensuring its high level of quality. The improved segmentation especially benefits the area for baby and toddler toys, which will be considerably larger this year. Top suppliers including such as PLAYMOBIL, Mattel and Habermaaß will be presenting their products at the "World of Baby Toys" area for premium offerings. Numerous other manufacturers of toys for babies and toddlers will be exhibiting their innovations close to the World of Baby Toys, including Simba Dickie Group, TOMY, Sigikid, Fehn, Käthe Kruse, Tolo Toys, Heimess, Bieco, Noukies and Kaloo. Around 120 companies, including Obermeyer, Teidem, Bugs, Medel, Aprica, W & O, Moulin Roty, Allerhand, geobra - Playmobil, Brio and Michelin, will be exhibiting at Kind + Jugend for the first time. Naturally, all of the international market leaders from the hardware sector will also be present in Cologne in September, including Dorel, Chicco, Mattel, Britax Römer, Recaro, Hauck, Concord, Jane, Cybex, Roba, Geuther, Schardt, Paidi, Stokke, Bugaboo, Graco, teutonia, Kettler, Hartan, Paidi, sigikid, Sterntaler, Peg Perego, Takata, Nakabayashi and Brevi. Even though the trade fair's focus is on hardware, Kind + Jugend remains an important event for many suppliers of baby's and toddler's fashion as well as maternity wear. The involvement of several first-time exhibitors means that this segment has grown slightly, and clothing manufacturers now make up about 10 per cent of the companies represented at Kind + Jugend. The latest collections for children and expectant mothers will be presented in September by approx. of 80 suppliers, including Santex, Task, Nickel, Obermeyer, Bondy Dress, Jacky, van Gennip, Döll, Staab, Schnizler, Teidem, Fiebig and Bugs. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
