| Indonesian International Plastics Exhibition  It is around eight months until Jakarta International Expo opens its doors to a quartet of key industry events in the form of INDOPLAS 2007 (Indonesian International Plastics Exhibition), INDOPACK 2007 (Indonesian Packaging Exhibition), INDO FOODTEC 2007 (Indonesian Food Technology Exhibition) and INDOPRINT 2007 (Indonesian Printing Exhibition) from 1 – 4 August 2007 and already, strong exhibitor commitment is being given to these landmark shows. Confirmed exhibitors for INDOPLAS 2007 include Indonesian plastic wrapping supplier PT. Trimitra Swadaya, which says it is taking part as it considers the show to be the most focused plastic exhibition in Indonesia.INDOPLAS is also drawing kudos from other industry organizations. China National Light Industry Machinery Association say they view the show as the professional plastic show in Indonesia and they are very interested to take part. Another Chinese company—Zhejiang Tianfeng Plastic Machinery—says they are looking to the Indonesian market to expand their business, and they feel INDOPLAS might be the right event for them to start. The company supplies extruders and extrusion lines, circular looms, plastic woven bag making machines. Other confirmed exhibitors include masterbatch manufacturer PT. Plasticolors Eka Perkasa and CRM, SCM, and ERP software supplier PT. Global System, both from Indonesia. INDOPACK is also enjoying a strong response from industry players, with local company accessories packaging machinery supplier PT. Nasindo Sejahtera Cemerlang and packaging machinery vendor Clearpack Singapore on the confirmed list. Overall, the organizer anticipates a total of 180 exhibitors at INDOPLAS, 80 exhibitors at INDOPACK, 100 exhibitors at INDO FOODTEC, and 100 exhibitors at INDOPRINT for a grand total of 450 exhibitors.
