| Guangzhou International Trade Fair for Moldmaking and Tooling Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt and Demat have partnered up to present Asiamold, a brand new annual trade fair for the mould-making and tooling industry in Asia. The first session of the fair is scheduled for 27 – 29 September 2007 at the Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Guangdong Province, south China. Over 200 exhibitors and 20, 000 visitors are expected to attend. Asiamold in Guangzhou will be the first fully international and professional venue for the promotion and marketing of mould-making services, tooling and machinery in Asia. Exhibits will include all types of moulds, including precision, plastics, die & casting, and injection, plus machine and cutting tools, pattern-making and prototyping equipment, hot-stamping machinery, and design and application development technology, machinery and services. Guangzhou is a clear and obvious choice as the best location for the new Asiamold trade fair. Guangdong province, with Guangzhou as its capital, is the most important manufacturing centre in China, the country in terms of production and export of manufactured goods. The concentration of manufacturing in many industry sectors – including automotive, lighting, and electronics – underpins Guangzhou's status as the mould and die capital of China. Visitors from many varied sectors of industry are expected to attend the show, including representatives from the following industries: aerospace, automotive, beauty, bicycles, chemical, construction, consumer goods, electronics, furniture, engineering, home appliances, IT, medical / optical, mining, packaging, ship-building, shoes, sports & leisure, telecommunications and toys. The intense production of automobiles, IT, household electronics, medical equipment, office apparatus, toys, lighting and construction products and machinery has pushed up demand for fast, efficient and increasingly complex mould-making. China-made moulds are making great progress in terms of technique, quality and speed of delivery. As global manufacturers increasingly look overseas for mould purchasing and tailor-made sub-contracting, China's mould-making industry is gathering speed and expertise – and the world is watching. A special event at Asiamold 2007, 'Automold' will bring automobile manufacturers and auto-parts suppliers into one forum to showcase their specialist moulds. China is one of the world's leading automotive centres in terms of both production and consumption – with sales of vehicles expected to reach 6 million units annually by the end of 2006. Consequently, demand for auto moulds is extremely high – an ordinary passenger car needs an estimated 1, 000 punching dies and over 200 moulds for interior decoration alone. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
