| Exhibition Micromachine/MEMS 2007 The leading event for the Micro/MEMS & Nano Technologies sector in Japan will change its name from Exhibition MICROMACHINE to Exhibition Micromachine / MEMS 2007 in anticipation of further development of MEMS business. The fair will take place at West Hall 3 and 4 of Tokyo International Exhibition Centre (known as Tokyo Big Sight) from 25 –27 July 2007. For the first time in its 18 year history, Exhibition Micromachine / MEMS will host an international Pavilion in 2007. The Federal Ministry of Economies and Technology will host a German Pavilion at the fair in cooperation with Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA). The fair will showcase micromachines, components and applied systems, MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems), microfabrication techniques and modelling software, μTAS (micro total analysis systems), nano-technology, nanotech-materials, materials, biotechnology and medical applications and evaluation equipment. The market scale of MEMS devices is expanding, and the MEMS technology is getting increasing attention in various industries.
