| Biotech China The latest addition to the BIOTECHNICA family is an exciting new trade show to be held overseas: Shanghai will host the first-ever Biotech China from 4 to 6 July 2007. The venue will be the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre. BIOTECH CHINA covers a wide spectrum – from red biotechnology (medicine and pharmaceuticals) to green biotechnology (agriculture and food production) and industrial biotechnology (chemical industry and environmental protection). Further display categories will include apparatus and technical equipment, plant engineering, laboratory equipment, bio-informatics and services for biotechnology. BIOTECH CHINA will provide exhibitors with the ideal forum for establishing new business contacts in Asia and will help companies extend their business operations to a market characterized by enormous growth potential. The event has been initiated and organized by three strong partners: Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover, Germany; Shanghai Technology Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd.; and Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Co., Ltd., China. Some highly successful events that are already well established on this marketplace will be held under the umbrella of BIOTECH CHINA – namely the trade shows BIOTECH-PHARM and ISCL and the scientific conference BIO-FORUM. The conference enjoys an excellent international reputation and attracts top-calibre speakers. In future, this two-day event will continue to be held in conjunction with BIOTECH CHINA. In addition, a whole series of other special events have been planned around the new trade show – for example, an Innovations Forum featuring corporate presentations, talks, lectures and product presentations. With the advent of BIOTECH CHINA the organizers have been able to consolidate and pool the strengths of the previous, separate events. Exhibitors and visitors will benefit from this merger as it ensures a concentration of market players within an ideal setting. This will facilitate both business leads, as well as the conclusion of actual business deals and orders. Companies exhibiting in China will find that demand is at a constant high. The Chinese biotech sector is booming. Nothing exemplifies this better than the Shanghai region itself, which has witnessed an unprecedented growth in the number of new biotech parks being set up. For this reason it is envisaged that BIOTECH CHINA will take place annually. The new event is a further addition to the portfolio of fairs organized by Deutsche Messe AG in China. Just a few months ago the company announced the formation of a strategic alliance with the Italian Fiera Milano S.p.A. Accordingly, Europe's two leading trade show organizers will cooperate on overseas markets. The burgeoning Chinese market is destined to play a decisive role in this context. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
