The 4th edition of Summer Sourcing Show for Gifts, Houseware and Toys will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 3rd to 6th, with around 800 exhibitors showcasing their latest products. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Summer Sourcing Show for Gifts, Houseware and Toys was first held in 2004 and it has opened up business opportunities for many companies. This year there are exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Belgium, the Chinese mainland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Turkey, U.S., and Vietnam.

To make it easier for exhibitors to target the right buyers, the Summer Sourcing Show is divided into different theme zones: Gift Ideas, Dining & Cooking, Style & Décor, Home Living, Fun & Play, Ladies' World and the new Costume Jewellery zone added this year. The fair also features Treasure Island, a premium section dedicated to products distinguished by their exceptional standards of style, quality and creativity. On top of these, selected products with exceptional quality will be on display at the Central Product Display under the theme of Ocean Waves at Hall 1 Concourse.

Besides acting as a trading platform, the Summer Sourcing Show will have various seminars for participants to get the latest industry and product information. Seminar topics include Exploring Silver Market of Toys Industry, Emerging Trends Within the UK Giftware Industry, Enhancing Environmental Management for Global Market Competitiveness in the Houseware Industry, and How to Assess Buyers from Traditional & Emerging Markets.
