| Autopromotec 2007  The 22nd edition of Autopromotec, the most important international exhibition of products, garage equipment and servicing, will be held in the Bologna Trade Fair Center on May 23 – 27, 2007. The event will be featuring all vehicle repairing and maintenance sections: from garage equipment and products, to testing lines, diagnostic tools, tires, spare parts, gas station and car wash equipment, tire retreading and engine reconditioning materials and plants, multi-purpose equipment, car servicing, official and independent service networks.The Autopromotec 2005 edition recorded 1, 107 exhibitors, with 348 foreign ones representing 43 countries. For the upcoming 2007 edition, the organizers are improving he international nature of the event, inviting exhibitors worldwide, opening a door especially to new manufacturers and new interesting markets making their debut on the automotive scene. The 2005 edition already scored high with 93, 084 visitors marking an 11% increase over the previous edition, whereas foreign visitors were 15, 569, with a 15, 6% increase. All these visitors came to Bologna individually or within the 35 official delegations organized by the Ministry of Production and the Italian Trade Commission. The auto repairing world is undergoing a quick change process. On the one hand the constant improvement in car quality lowers the need for garage services, but on the other hand it makes the same services more complicated and more expensive. The official servicing networks and a lively world made up of independent professionals (individual or in partnership) are facing each other on the Italian market.
