| Mexa Moscow  On the catwalks of the major fashion capitals, fur is currently experiencing an impressive comeback. This noble material is on show everywhere, in the form of coats, jackets, collars, muffs and hats. The Russian fur market, as one of the largest in the world, is following this trend. It is going from strength to strength on the back of increasing spending power and the excellent reputation enjoyed by international designers and brands. Consequently, this luxurious material and its processing techniques will be taking centre stage from 18th to 20th May 2007 at MEXA MOSCOW: the international trade fair for fur and fur processing in Russia offers companies an ideal platform for presenting their products in the Russian marketplace.With the motto “Magic of Fur”, the spring event will boast a particularly high number of visitors: the Eastern European industry get-together slots perfectly into the order pattern of the international fur industry. Event organiser, OWP Ost-West-Partner GmbH from Germany, is very happy with the current level of interest in the trade fair. “Bookings for the 15th MEXA MOSCOW are already at 70 percent. There will be many of renowned exhibitors from the industry”, sums up Erich Fichtner, CEO of OWP.
