Global Gaming Expo Asia

Gaming professionals planning to attend next month's Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) can look forward to a conference program filled with world-class educational content and the unique opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders about the trends and issues affecting the industry in Asia and around the world. G2E Asia, the largest gaming industry trade show and conference event on the continent, will take place June 13-14, 2007 at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Center in Macau, SAR, People's Republic of China.

Fahrenkopf will moderate the opening keynote, entitled State of the Industry: The Growth of Australasian Markets, on Wednesday, June 13. The discussion will address the explosive growth of gaming across Asia as well as the impact this rising market will have on the industry as a whole. Speakers include Mark Yoseloff, Ph.D., chairman & CEO of Shuffle Master, Inc., and Pansy Ho, managing director of Shun Tak Holdings Limited and MGM Grand Paradise.

On Thursday, June 14, Paulo A. Azevedo, executive director of Macau Business Magazine, will moderate the keynote Making it in Macau: Asia's Gaming Giant. This session will focus on the continued growth of Macau as well as the market's potential and future outlook. Panelists for the session include David Banks, group COO of Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited; Ian Coughlan, director of hotel operations for Wynn Resorts, Ltd; and Adam Rosenberg, managing director of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

In addition to the keynote events, the conference will explore the important trends that are changing the gaming business and the way gaming is enjoyed. In Turning the Tables: How Technology Will Revolutionize Games and Slots and New Technology: Where Do We Go From Here?, gaming technology experts will examine how the latest technological innovations are fundamentally changing both table games and slot machines. Other conference sessions will provide in-depth analyses of subjects such as law and regulation, operational models and responsible gaming in the Asian gaming markets.

The conference at G2E Asia 2007 is being officially endorsed by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), with campuses in Nevada and Singapore, International Gaming Institute (IGI), which will issue certificates of completion to G2E Asia conference attendees in acknowledgement of their participation.

Preceding the conference on June 12 will be the Gaming Investment Forum, sponsored by Goldman Sachs & Co. The forum will feature a number of renowned corporate leaders and financial practitioners who will offer their expert perspectives on the financial future of leading gaming companies.

The AGA represents the commercial casino-entertainment industry by addressing federal legislative and regulatory issues. The association also serves as a clearinghouse for information, develops educational and advocacy programs, and provides leadership on industry-related issues of public concern.
