| The Vancouver Sun Garden Show –The largest outdoor garden show in North America is returning to the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver from June 7 – 10, 2007. The Vancouver Sun comes on board as title partner, giving the show its new title – The Vancouver Sun Garden Show. This year's "Windows on the World" theme will showcase designer gardens from around the globe. The Vancouver Sun has partnered with Fireworks Marketing Group, producers of the 2007 Garden Show. There will be new and old favourite programs, contests and exhibitions for the novice to experienced gardener, including: "The Miracle-Gro Container Gardening Contest", "Ask an Expert", the "Garden Gallery Speakers' Stage", and the all new "Urban Deck Garden Showcase". The Vancouver Sun Garden Show continues to 'go green' with the "Green Garden" exhibition, being developed by Masters Students from the UBC Landscape Architecture program. These displays will showcase different methods of sustainable gardening, composting, water conservation, green roofs, biodiversity and more. The other -not to miss -new installation is the 'Urban Deck Showcase'. This area will feature close to a dozen different deck displays, all designed to celebrate 'small is beautiful'.
