| The International Exhibition-Congress on Chemical Engineering  In 2007 AchemAsia – the seventh International Exhibition-Congress on Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology will take place from 14 to 18 May on the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing/PR China. 2007 will host the largest exhibition ever since its première in the year 1989. Not only does the event in 2007 comprehend more halls than previously. Being the world's powerhose for industrial manufacturing, China's chemical process industry with over 10% plays a key role in the country's industrial value adding chain. Not surprisingly, the ranking of the chemical industry has continually gone upwards within the respective Five-Year Plans of the past two decades. Against this background AchemAsia 2007 provides the ideal setting for the international equipment branches and technology suppliers for forging new contacts in the fast-track economic region of China. Attendees at AchemAsia will also experience an all new international conference concept, with the congress now being fully integrated in the exhibition area.
