| Hair & Beauty An established name with a new look: the first Hair & Beauty to be organised by Messe Frankfurt is the highlight of the year and will be distinguished by a new and glittering image from 12 to 14 May 2007. Shortly before the start of Germany's biggest hairdressing fair, here are the most important new features of Hair & Beauty at a glance. Messe Frankfurt can draw on over 800 years of trade-fair experience, as well as on the marketing power of a widespread international network of almost 70 subsidiaries, branch offices and representatives for 151 countries. With the support of marketing partners around the globe, the forthcoming Hair & Beauty is benefiting from international marketing activities for the first time – and with success! Thus, exhibitor internationality at Hair & Beauty 2007 has risen in comparison to the previous years and will include companies from The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Poland, the Czech Republic and Japan. Moreover, the first international visitors have already announced their coming not only from countries bordering on Germany but also from 'exotic' places such as South Africa and Australia. Glamour and nothing but glamour is promised by the show programme on the ShowStage in the 'Festhalle'. The series of events begins with the 'Colour Secrets' gala evening on Saturday, 12 May, with the presentation of international colour artists followed by a mega party lasting until the early hours of Sunday morning. Later on the Sunday, five top international teams will cause the ShowStage and the 3, 500 seats to quiver with excitement. The teams include the hair gurus of Vidal Sassoon, Rush from the trend metropolis, London, Irina Baranova from Moscow and the Artistic Teams of Paul Mitchell and Revlon. On the Sunday and Monday, the two workshop stages in Hall 3.0 will offer 30 hours of coaching for styling, cutting and dyeing while, in the Competence Centre of the same hall, experts from all branches of the hairdressing business will be on hand to answer questions. Visitors will also be able to find their way around the exhibition areas of Halls 3.0 and 3.1 quickly and easily thanks to its arrangement in themed worlds, such as 'Hair & Beauty Professional' for salon furnishing suppliers and 'Nail Corner' for nail specialists. Holders of admission tickets can visit all parts of the fair without restriction. Great importance is attached to service at all Messe Frankfurt events. At Hair & Beauty this means A range of exclusive but inexpensive travel packages, A host of internet services including online ticket sales, Catering tailored to the needs of the hairdressing sector, A new and fresh look for the exhibition halls. Hall 3 at Hair & Beauty is the venue not only for the OMC 2007 German Cup but also the OMC 2007 Europe Cup Final. Here, the motto is 'No half measures': 80 double mirrors, 160 seats, 350 entrants to the European and 150 to the German Championships. The Competition Stage is huge for a huge programme of competitions.
