| The National Stationery Show The National Stationery Show (NSS), North America's trade show for innovative and unique products for the social stationery industry, will offer value, inspiration and new opportunities for more than 14, 000 retailers, May 20-23, 2007, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. This essential marketplace will present nearly 1, 400 exhibitors throughout 240, 000 net square feet of exhibit space. Among the 1, 300 exhibitors will be some 400 companies new to the Show, affirming its celebrated history and industry-wide reputation of being both a birthplace for industry talent and a discovery zone for retailers looking for fresh, marketable products. Additionally, many exhibitors use the National Stationery Show to present their corporate booths – something buyers can see only at NSS. A comprehensive lineup of dynamic seminars and highly-anticipated industry events will complement the market, as well as the return of The Pen Pavilion – a special focus area featuring fine writing instruments. The National Stationery Show will debut a new floor plan for the 2007 market, encouraging cross-merchandising opportunities by eliminating distinctive sections. The new format will promote the expanded offerings of exhibitors, as their businesses evolve with the addition of new product categories. Primary product categories to be showcased include greeting cards and social stationery, custom invitations, party decor and paper tableware, journals, calendars, bridal accessories, craft and scrapbooking supplies, frames and desk accessories. Nearly 100 international companies will participate in the Show this year, including country pavilions from China, Hong Kong and India, demonstrating the worldwide significance of this market and the continued global strength of the social stationery industry. Countries represented include Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand. Cross market opportunities will offer additional benefit to attendees, as the Show once again runs concurrently with The Supply Side, an annual exposition featuring suppliers to the social stationery, giftware and graphic arts industries; SURTEX, North America's premier international trade show for selling and licensing art and design; and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF ), presenting the latest trends in furniture, lighting, textiles, wall/floor coverings and decorative accessories. George Little Management (GLM ), owner of all four shows, anticipates a combined 2, 800 exhibitors, manufacturers and distributors under one roof, and 42, 000 buyers. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
