| International Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia The Thai Printing Association and The Thai Packaging Association recently announced that they have signed a partnership with Messe Düsseldorf Asia, a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, to jointly organize a regional packaging and printing exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand. To elevate the exhibition to a pulsating event that echoes its new objective of bringing more international exhibitor and visitor participation, AsiaPACK and AsiaPRINT will be renamed to PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL. The exhibition will be held from 26 to 29 April 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand and will occupy 15, 000 square metres of space at Bangkok's prestigious venue – BITEC, Bangkok International and Trade Exhibition Centre. Thailand is an excellent venue to host PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL as the country is today a major exporter of print and packaging products. The Thai government is also gearing the country to be Asia's printing hub by 2007. Thailand as a country has the most growth potential in the region and has become a preferred investment hub and gateway for product distribution to other countries in the region and beyond. The healthy Thai domestic market is an ideal basis for businesses across the region. The joint collaboration between the two associations and Messe Düsseldorf Asia will add fresh impetus to the exhibition. All three organizations will work towards the common goal of establishing a representative and international exhibition for Southeast Asia as part of the international exhibition calendar of the packaging and printing industries. Messe Düsseldorf Asia will work closely with the drupa and interpack teams at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH as well as the 71 worldwide representative offices to put together a winning strategy to increase and enhance the value and exposure of PRINT PACK INTERNATIONAL. PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL will raise awareness and augment Asia's packaging and printing capabilities, spurring both industries to new heights. The exhibition will be tailored made to reflect the market's evolutionary path driven by new needs, competition, technology, channels and other developments. The exhibition will have a special focus on the integration of processes in packaging and printing and its supply chain as this will eventually lead both industries to claim market leadership and turning Asia to a packaging and printing hub. PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL will be the premier exhibition for the packaging and printing industries, providing a unique platform for manufacturers of packaging and printing machinery, processing companies, designers and suppliers to exhibit to a targeted audience. The exhibition will attract visitors from all over Southeast Asia including India and Oceania. The exhibition will present excellent opportunities for the industries in the region to evaluate its investing decisions in packaging and printing equipment and technologies. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
