AgriChina 2007

The third agriChina event scheduled for April 26 – 28 in Beijing is off to an impressive start with 100 exhibitors already registered and more than 15, 000 visitors expected. This international exhibition, the only platform reaching the important decision makers in Chinese agribusiness, will be held at the China National Agricultural Exhibition Center. Notable within the registrations is a strong growth in the spare parts sector. agriChina is aimed at providing the Chinese market with the right kind of high-quality agricultural information critical for growth in this expanding market which is receiving continuous political attention.

Complementing the professional trade exhibition will be specialist conferences on, for instance, farm mechanisation and on potato production in China.

The full programme, which also includes the opportunity to take part in an agricultural excursion with farm and company visits, is aimed at ensuring a wide range of comprehensive and relevant information for visitors and exhibitors alike.

The expected 15 000-plus visitors will mostly include decision makers from industry trade, government representatives and sciences as well as from large farms in the important agricultural regions of north and north-eastern China. Ten percent of the visitors are expected to come from outside China. The main areas of agriChina are Agricultural machinery and crop production; Arable farming and livestock production and management.
