| Perth's Inaugural Gardening Australia Expo  Water conservation and sustainability of our gardens are top of the agenda for many of the speakers and exhibitors at Perth's inaugural Gardening Australia Expo, being held at Perry Lakes, Floreat, April 12-15. Perth is experiencing its driest year since rainfall records commenced in 1876. This has impacted on stream flows and hence the rate of dam refill. Parts of the State's south west and mid west have also been severely impacted by our drying climate.
