| The Fine Wine Fair ![]() This particular wine event, Vinoélite, will have the honour of showcasing the eleven mythical wineries comprising the PFV group at the moment: Antinori (Tuscany, Italy), Tenuta San Guido- Sassicaia (Tuscany, Italy), Maison Joseph Drouhin (Burgundy, France), Champagne Pol Roger (Champagne, France), Hugel & Fils (Alsace, France), Château Mouton Rothschild (Bordeaux, France), Torres (various regions, Spain), Vega Sicilia (various regions, Spain), The Symington Family Port Companies (Porto & Douro, Portugal), Egon Müller-Scharzhof (Saar, Germany), Château de Beaucastel (Rhone, France). There is more good news for wineries participating at Vinoélite, because IMW (Institute of Masters of Wine) has confirmed the visit of 32 of its members, including some of the world´s leading experts in wines and specifiers with incredible influence worldwide. This prestigious institute was founded in England in 1955 and can count among its members many leading authorities in wine like Michael Broadbent, Serena Sutcliffe, Jancis Robinson, John Salvi, Cathy Van Zyl, Peter Scudamore-Smith, Rose Murray Brown, Mary Ewin-Mulligan, Doug Frost, Minette Constant, ... These 32 special guests will be taking part in roundtables, tastings and encounters with the wineries showing at Vinoélite. This is a wonderful occasion to exchange views and sound out the opinion of these specialists on our wines. All bodegas exhibiting at Vinoélite must fulfil a demanding set of criteria of quality and excellence reflecting the level of the wines they make. At the same time, during these dates the city of Valencia will provide a wonderful backdrop for this wine event. Besides its regular interesting programme of cultural events, it will be hosting the prestigious Louis Vuitton regattas, the most exciting in the world famous America´s Cup. The countdown has already begun, with a build-up of the intense emotion described so well by the 11th century Persian poet Omar Khayyam, ´yet in all I only cared to know, was never deep in anything but-wine´. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
