| Grand´Motorbike Week of Madrid - Madrid MÁs Moto Grand ´ Motorbike Week of Madrid - Madrid MÁs Moto´, which will take place between 25th and 29th April at IFEMA (Feria de Madrid), has designed a wide-ranging and attractive Programme of Activities organised by ANESDOR, one in which visitors and the inhabitants of Madrid and the rest of Spain will play the leading role. Sporting exhibitions, trials, driving schools, external circuits and even fashion parades make up a varied and original programme, which stands out for its dynamic and participative profile. Within the framework of its leisure-based dimension, but also with a view to promoting responsible motorbike use, MADRID MÁS MOTO will host a Driving School in the South Area-Hall 1 throughout the fair´s five-day duration. This activity is aimed at all those who wish to establish their first contact with the motorcycle world within a safe and protected environment. The participants in this activity will learn the basic theory that will enable them to ride their two-wheeled vehicles in a safe and preventive manner, skills that they will be able to practice on 50 cc. mopeds and 125 cc. motorbikes, under the supervision of a number of professional instructors. Safety is a key dimension at this fair, in which respect the event will provide the public with a voluntary and free technical inspection service. This activity, organised by the Association of Official Vehicle Inspection Authorities of Madrid and the Department of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Madrid Regional Government, will enable users to check whether their vehicle is in a perfect ´state of health´. Visitors will also have the opportunity to test-drive some of the mopeds, light motorbikes and quads on show at the fair. In this respect, three different trial circuits will be set up, adapted to the different types of vehicle that are available to be test-driven. For their part, those who seek somewhat more extreme excitement will be able to enjoy the spectacular trial exhibitions (free style, Supermotard and acrobatic displays) presented by a number of professional riders. The public will also be able to take part in external circuits in open traffic throughout the vicinity of Feria de Madrid, featuring vehicles of different cylinder capacity, such as scooters and mega-scooters of 125-150 cc. to 600 cc. and motorcycles of 150 cc. to 1100 cc. Furthermore, ANESDOR will demonstrate the fact that motorcycles and fashion have much in common, based on the staging of a fashion parade featuring the latest trends in motorcycle accessories and clothing for motorcyclists. In short, this varied range of activities will complement and strengthen the appeal of the fair´s extensive and attractive exhibition, which will feature the participation of some 130 direct exhibitors representing 300 companies in 17 countries. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
