| External Works - The Exhibitioin ![]() Using mixed level spaces and a combination of textures and sounds, such as water, bridges, boulders, and willow archways, Playscape creates an exciting setting designed to challenge and inspire its users, an approach which the Groundwork design team hopes that other designers, local authorities and contractors will adopt and consider. Incorporating nature and technology in the Playscape design, Groundwork UK and Visible Changes are using EWx 2007 to showcase how play spaces can provide children with a place to be creative, active and experience risk, whilst also offering opportunities for three generations of the family to play together. EWx 2007 draws on the support of a number of leading industry organisations including CABE, the Landscape Institute (LI), the Association of Play Industries (API) and the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA). The event will feature a series of high profile seminars on future trends in the development of public space, as well as providing exhibitors and visitors with the opportunity to showcase and view the latest designs from suppliers such as Lappset, Timberplay, Proludic and Handmade Places. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
