| Trade Exhibition for Building and Construction - MosBuild The growth of Russia's biggest trade exhibition for building and construction, MosBuild and MosBuild+, shows no sign of relenting after another successful record breaking event in the first week of April last year at Expocentr and Crocus Expo in Moscow. On 3-6 April 2007 the event will be held already for the 13th time. The interest in MosBuild is still increasing, and the show is expanding every year. The 2006 event hostet 2, 036 companies and covered more than 66, 000 sqm of net exhibition space (23 % more than in the previous year). Visitor figures have been estimated to be around 120, 000 (plus 17 %). New halls available for further expansion will see MosBuild grow beyond 80, 000 sqm this year. With MosBuild 2007 the country will host its first trade event to exceed this size.2, 750 exhibitors will be presenting future business, with an anticipated audience of around 100, 000 attendees over a four-day period. The number of national and regional groups participating at MosBuild 2006 totalled 14. This is expected to increase again in 2007, and among others Germany and Austria will have an official joint stand once again. The event will have the official support from the State Committee for Industry, Construction and High Technology of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and Moscow Region, The Government of St. Petersburg, the Union of Architects of Russia and other official offices. With additional exhibition space available, individual sectors can expand, and MosBuild 2007 will feature already 15 exhibitions. MosBuild at Expocentr will host Building Materials & Equipment, Ceramic & Stone, Heat*Vent, Santechnika and Technoceramica as well as the new sectors Building Engineering and Hardware & Tools. MosBuild+ at Crocus Expo will include Decotex, Flooring, Garden, Glass & Facades, Interior & Exterior Doors, Interiors and Windows & Doors, new sectors are Interiors Plus (Furniture & Decor) and Paints. Windows & Doors will use the complete pavilion 1 as well as an additional hall of pavilion 2 of Crocus Expo this year. The growth within the windows and doors industry in Russia has been phenomenal.
