China International Boat Show

An unsatiable hunger for luxury goods for leisure lifestyle, a quickly developing desire for first class living and a booming boat-building industry are the drivers for the 2007 China International Boat Show. Staged on April 5-8, 2007, Asia's largest exhibition for maritime leisure and boatbuilding is maintaining its momentum of quick growth. Making the extreme of its grandeur in the history with more than 25, 000 sqm in Shanghai Exhibition Centre, the show will feature more than 350 exhibitors, including top Chinese shipyards and many overseas luxury yacht manufacturers.

Bookings are coming in earlier and on a bigger order in comparison to the same period of last year. Expressing the strong confidence in business opportunities at CIBS, exhibitors in majority confirmed their participation much earlier. Organizer has received 70% more early-bird booking forms compared to the previous year.

Again, CIBS is backed by major associations and features national pavilions supported by the French and Italian associations FIN and UCINA, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Although actually it is a 'land' show, CIBS 2007 will host 350 international yards and dealers with real boats up to 50 feet length. At present, a numerous range of renowned companies and brands have committed to resume their participation, including Feretti, Beneteau, Sun Runner, Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, Fairline, Bennetti, Nauto Swan, Aicon, Mercury and many new exhibitors such as Riva, Azimut, Itama, and Riviera.

Marine equipment and supplies are also well represented by Iveco Motors, Kohler, Volvo Penta, ZF, Tripower, Uflex, Yikang, Samyung, LSH, B&W and other brands aiming to tap into the warming boat-building market.

And more Chinese brands, boat builders and equipment manufacturers such as Double Happiness, Poly Marine & Engineer, Ideal Precision Casting, Carnahan and Diesel Engine will offer international visitors an unlimited sourcing and out-sourcing opportunities.
