| Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2007 A slew of new designs and ideas of consumer electronics items and information and communications technology will be featured at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2007 and its concurrent event - the International ICT Expo. Both events, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC), will be held from April 14 to 17 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. A total of over 2, 950 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, including around 2, 400 exhibitors for the Electronics Fair and around 550 exhibitors for the ICT Expo, will be showcasing their latest products and services. Both located at the Expo Drive Hall, Vision & Sound will showcase the latest lifestyle products in home theatre and entertainment systems, while the Home Tech offers a wide range of intelligent home appliances, home security and healthcare electronics. The Electronics Fair's other popular sections include Digital Imaging. The focus is on products that are revolutionising imaging in the consumer and commercial world. Products include digital cameras, digital videos and web cameras. Healthcare Electronics. The trend for healthy lifestyle has seen phenomenal growth in consumer demand for exercising, measuring and tracking equipment and devices for health and fitness programmes. Hong Kong Electronics Parts Procurement Square which is supported by the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO). It is exclusively designed for Japanese companies which consider to procure in Hong Kong. Metal Parts & Components Pavilion. A strong contingent of suppliers of an incredible array of parts and components essential for the manufacture of every electronic product under the sun. The exhibitors in this zone are the members of the Hong Kong Metals Manufacturing Association. A series of seminars will also be held during the twin-fair period.
