| Intex - International Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Trade Fair  Intex - international apparel Fabrics & Accessories trade fair, India, moves ahead strongly towards its 4th edition, presenting an opportunity to develop trade relationships with the discerning buyers of South Asia. Intex, which will be held from 27-29 March, 2007, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, has evoked tremendous interest throughout the world. With confirmed and larger participants from Taiwan, China, Korea, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and leading companies from India, Intex will have an array of products for the buyers to choose from.India, along with her South Asian neighbours constitute a dominant apparel manufacturing hub, second only to China. It was therefore surprising that no platform existed in the sub-continent for manufacturers of apparel to source fabrics and accessories for every season. Manufacturers had to limit their range of exports and manufacture to what was available through the network of dealers and distributors. However, Intex – international fabric and accessory fair for the apparel industry has changed all that by bringing fabric and accessory manufacturers from all over the world including leading companies from India and South Asia so that apparel manufacturers can source the latest and widest variety of fabrics and even increase their product ranges thereby increasing exports and fulfill the ever increasing demands of the domestic industry.
