International Trade Fair for Fabrics and Furnishings

The second edition of Decosit HKG in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will take place from 14 until 16 March 2007. This trade fair for fabrics and furnishings, which is open to trade visitors only, is based on a 'West meets East'-concept.

Alice trends Upon request of our exhibitors and visitors, Decosit's trend information will be shown in Hong Kong. Colour trends, new designs, inspirational images, etc... shown at Decosit Brussels under the name "Alice" will be exhibited for the first time in Hong Kong.

The trade professionals of the Middle East will be invited for the first time to Hong Kong as well, increasing as such the number of invited professionals. This trade fair for fabrics and furnishings, which is open to trade visitors only, is based on a 'West meets East'-concept.

Upmarket western companies bring high quality products and design to the Asian-Pacific market during a business-to-business event, where visitors come on invitation only. The right visitor is guaranteed to meet the right exhibitor.

As is the case in Brussels, the focus is both on the residential as well as the contract market for fabrics and furnishings. The latter in particular is important, for Decosit HKG comes to a market which has a huge potential on that same contract market.

View from Decosit HKG 2006 No less than 80 percent of the exhibitors come from leading European countries such as Belgium, Italy and Spain, while the others originate from the US, Turkey and India. On a qualitative level, there's but one conclusion to be made: Decosit HKG only allows high quality products to be put on display, just like in Brussels.

The fair works together with a number of prominent organisations, such as the Japan Interior Industry Association, the Interior Design Confederation Singapore, the Nippon Interior Fabrics Association, the Hong Kong Interior Design Association and the Hong Kong Designers Association.
