| Spring House & Garden Show When winter finally bids your garden farewell your first step in preparing it for the colourful seasons ahead is a trip to the dedicated gardening area at the MyHome.ie Spring House & Garden Show at the RDS Dublin on St Patrick's weekend, March 16th -19th 2007. From seeds, bulbs and books, to paving and planters as well as a number of specialist nurseries offering rare and unusual plants, every sod of gardening is unturned! Expert guidance will also be on hand as the garden section will boast its very own seated seminar area which will be led throughout the four days by gardening expert, Gerry Daly. This Interactive Gardening Design Forum is the perfect opportunity to bring along pictures and plans and reap the benefit of talking to Gerry Daly and his panel of experts! The Show Gardens promise to inspire with spectacular features, designed by multi-award wining Paul Martin, set to make your visit a memorable and learning experience. You will be spoilt for colour choice too with specialist nurseries and garden centres presenting a creation of plant and floral displays. And, if your hanging baskets or in-house floral features need a new look for 2007 then participation in the flower arranging talks are a must! A series of compost clinics, offering useful tips and guidance for composting at home will also form part of the gardening design forum. It's never too late or early to encourage an interest in gardening with your children or grandchildren and the popular Dale Treadwell and friends returns to the show to assist! Hosting the Naturally Wild Kid's Zone he will bring nature to the table with a selection of plants and animals and the young, and not so young, can find out how to get more animals to visit their gardens.
