| The Spring 2007 High Point Market  Furniture First, a national retail furniture buying group, is making the most of High Point. With the majority of its members attending the Spring 2007 High Point Market, the buying group plans to hold its biannual members meeting in downtown High Point. The Furniture First member meeting is a private event scheduled for Sunday, March 25, the evening prior to the start of Market this year, which runs from Monday, March 26 to Sunday, April 1st. The meeting and reception will take place in the High Point Theatre, courtesy of the High Point Market Authority. Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Furniture First represents 320 retail store fronts in 42 states.Bill Hartman, President of Furniture First, is an avid supporter of the High Point Market and says that the buying group's members come for opportunities that exist only in High Point. Furniture First is a national organization serving the retail home furnishings industry.
