| Design Attack Theme At Gds 2007: Kuhba Libre "Kuhba Libre" will be the theme of the Design Attack exhibit at GDS 2007 – International Event for Shoes, to be held from March 9 – 11, 2007 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. A combination of the word "Cuba Libre" and the German word for cow (Kuh), the Design Attack exhibits will blend the idyllic Alpine landscape with the refreshing ingredients of a cocktail. The Design Attack booths will be styled like mountain huts with a black and white cowhide design and a panoramic mountain landscape in the background. An Alpine-hut style restaurant will invite visitors to enjoy Bavarian specialties and beer while the world-famous trend cocktail Cuba Libre will be served at the Ice Bar. An ice rink will be the catwalk for the Kuhba Libre fashion shows and a Bavarian band will entertain during the Happy Hours. Design Attack at GDS 2007 will be the international platform for creative young designers and already established labels to showcase the trends for the 2007/08 autumn/winter season and the immediate ranges for the coming summer. 120 Design Attack exhibitors will present new and original trends in street fashion. Shoes and bags, urban wear, lingerie, jewelry as well as other accessories and lifestyle products will be the highlights. Alternative materials along with new colors and finishes will determine the styles of these young, non-conformist collections. The leather ware collections of the exhibitors at GLS 2007, International Event for Leather Goods & More, will also be incorporated into the Design Attack area.
