| Rail-Tech Russia Rail-Tech Russia will take place at the VVC Centre Moscow from 18-20 June 2007. The event is being organised on behalf of RZD/JSC Russian Railways and is supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the federation of rolling stock companies in Russia. The supporting international railway associations besides the UIC are CER, UNIFE and OSJD. The Rail-Tech Russia conference programme is being put together by a high quality international advisory committee. In this committee representatives of the above-mentioned international supporting associations have a seat as well as representatives of Russian Railways, the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Russian railway industry. The programme hence promises to become a very international one with a focus on Russia as a strategic link between Europe and Asia. It will amongst others deal with the following subjects: integration of different railway systems, international harmonisation in the technical, operational, regulatory and commercial fields, rail traffic management systems, automation, outlook for passenger and rail freight services and high speed. An international exhibition on rail technology, rolling stock and infrastructure will run simultaneously with the international conference. Here Russian and international companies are offered the opportunity to demonstrate their latest railway technologies. During Rail-Tech Russia an Innovation Award will be awarded to the person or company implementing the most innovative product or service or providing a valuable contribution to the rail sector in general. The selection criteria are innovation, inventiveness and market potential. A competent jury will judge the nominations and will announce the award winner during the event. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
